How-To - call add-in method from script | document template fragment

Hi guys. I try to gather information about an external system in a custom document template fragment. I could not find a way how to call my add-in (i know how to do it in a shape script), but it is possible to use a script in a template fragment. So is there a way:

• to call a add-in method directly from a document template fragment?
• to call a add-in method from a custom script?
