Stealing a floating license from a user
« on: July 07, 2018, 01:17:53 am »
Does anyone know whether it's possible to steal a floating license that has been checked out by a user? An example use case would be if the user opens EA but forgets to close it before going on vacation. We're using EA Professional Floating.

Steal -> Revoke i suppose, you can use the keystore manager to see the license assignment and release it.
However there must have been a time out too.

You can log out users.

Thanks for the replies! Since you both indicated it was possible, I read the Keystore User Guide more carefully, and found that the process is fully described in section 5.5. Hope that helps others!
