WebEA: Diagrams not updating on element change
« on: August 09, 2018, 11:15:16 am »
When I save a diagram in EA, the image is correctly updated in WebEA to reflect the change. This is because I have checked "Auto create Diagram Image" in the Configure -> Model -> Options.

However, if I just change the name of an element on the diagram, this doesn't actually change the diagram directly so the image is not updated, showing the old element name. I have to actually move something on the diagram and save before the name change shows up in WebEA.

Is there any way for diagram images in WebEA to show the latest element names, even if the diagram hasn't been changed directly?

The worker which is provided as part of the pro cloud will update diagrams containing updated elements. (It also gives you the capability of requesting it be updated within WebEA)

As you know this won't be considered as a diagram change and hence the images wont be reloaded automatically, you might have to use the manual reload from the viewer to achieve that.
