Hi,

I got a question during an EA training on the Align keyboard shortcuts e.g. Ctrl Alt Left doesn't work as it rotates the screen.
Hence I wonder if these shortcuts actually work (I never used them)

It's can be old shortcuts. I'm found some shortcuts that dosen't work while working with "requirement's managment" EA docuemnt.

Rotate the screen? Does it have servos?

Probably you have some Windoze settings that capture the key combination.

IIRC it is the display chipset software not native windows.  Most have configurable key combinations.  There seems to be an unofficial convention tho for what the defaults are.  It may even be in the WHQL specs somewhere.

We've had a lot of fun when people leave their machines unlocked by software rotating one monitor, physically rotating the other, and changing their mouse to left handed.

That sounds like a good one. Must try it.
We send out an email inviting everyone to free drinks down at the local pub when they leave their computer unlocked. But that's getting old now

Back in the day, when screen glare filters were all the rage, we slid some black cardboard between the glare filter and the screen.  Took the guys over an hour, with the help desk involved, before they worked it out ...

Did that a while ago, and more recently a colleague switched 2 keys on another colleague's keyboard (can't remember which ones)... Office fun
