Sharepoint 2010 Integration
« on: February 21, 2012, 02:05:06 am »
Does any EA user have some tips on what is the current Best Practice for integration of EA with Sharepoint 2010?

We currently use EA's HTML export to publish a static snapshot of our model to Sharepoint 2010.  Has anyone tried to create tighter integration with EA - e.g. XMI checkin/checkout, automatic publishing of HTML content - or integration of EA with other software tools - e.g. simulation and data analysis - via Sharepoint 2010?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I'm the author of eaDocX (but also a user)

Our project uses eaDocX to generate documents, which are then stored on a Sharepoint: we found that the HTML generator created so many files that Sharepoint took ages to processes them all - each HTML file seemed to be a separate Sharepoint 'thing', and the HTML generator produces LOTS of things..
