EA14: Swimlanes line width not working ?
« on: August 20, 2018, 01:23:47 pm »
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with the line width setting for diagram swimlanes?
The default setting I get is 3 but I can't seem to change it.  If I change the control from 3 to 1 then save the property changes, there is no change to the diagram and if I move off the swimlanes sheet onto the normal properties sheet and back again it has reverted back to 3.

All the other settings (font, font colour, name display etc) including the line colour work fine.  It's just the line width that seems to be ignored

Further to this, the 'Locked' property (which is supposed to prevent the swimlanes from being re-sized) is also not functional.  Either not being saved or not working when it does.

Both have been reported through the official bug link.  The first issue with line size (from the original post) is "... a confirmed 'known bug' and it is logged to be fixed. We cannot yet say when (in which build) the fix will be implemented".  I suspect the second is also.

Unfortunately the Sparx backlog of bug fixes is not published so it is not possible to tell whether a bug has been reported or not, nor any information on a likelihood of a fix anytime soon (although perhaps seeing the backlog of known bugs would be a depressing sight ...)

That's why we "oldies" and "ancients" copy the report here into the forum.   ;)
