Lines in whiteboard Diagram -- 14.1

I use EA 14.1 and want to draw a line (from the Toolbox -- Lines) but it only shows a "hand" but the line is not appearing. What is it I am doing wrong or is it a "not wanted feature"? In previous versions of EA I did not have this issue.

Line, Directed Line, Dashed Line, etc (all Line options in the Toolbox) cannot be instantiated on the Diagram...

You need to DRAW the line between two elements. It's a stereotyped relation.
