Suppress compositionKind lozenge rendering?
« on: December 19, 2018, 05:50:39 pm »
We are converting our legacy "Aggregation" and "Composition" based arcs to "Association" based arcs.  One issue we now have is our shapescripts are "overridden" by the compositionKind lozenges.  That is, with the legacy arcs, there were no compositionKind lozenges drawn by EA, and we had to draw our own.  This suited us fine as we have a couple of different lozenges that surface certain properties.  We also overlayed some multiplicity properties as additional renderings.

What we are finding with the Association based arcs (without changing the shapescript) is that we get two lozenges, one ours, one EA's.  However, the EA one is a fixed rendering, as far as we can tell.

Is there any way to suppress the EA generated lozenges so that our previous shapescripts can render as they used to?

TIA,
Paolo
