Time Aware Modeling : How to 'Clone Element' in multiple diagrams

When cloning an element as a new version from a diagram, in that diagram, the element gets updated to the new version.

In other diagrams that that element appears in, which should now use the new version also, how do you update the diagram to the new version.

e.g. An actor that appears in many use-case diagrams
