Classifiers, Metatypes & Diagram Objects - HELP! ;-)
« on: October 31, 2020, 01:57:10 pm »
Hi all

I am looking at the documentation for RefGUID and RefGUIDList, where the format for the tagged value types is specified as (RefGUID sample shown):

Type=RefGUID;
Values=Type1,Type2;
Stereotypes=Stereotype1;
Or
Type=RefGUID;
Metatype=Type;

· (such as Class,
Component, Attribute or Operation)
· Stereotype1 represents an allowed stereotype
Metatype can be used to reference Classifiers or Property types:
· Metatype=Classifier; presents all Enterprise Architect-defined Classifier types
to select from
· Metatype=Property; presents all Ports, Parts and Attributes to select from

My question is:

Where do I get the complete list of:
* Classifiers,
* Property Types, and
* Diagram Objects.

I've poked around the Sparx documentation, which is pretty bloody rubbish on the whole and am rather stuck I must say.

Cheers

Jays :-)

Look in the UML specs I guess.

If yo create a new stereotype and use the stereotype helper you also get a list to select the metatype to extend from.
