I am new to using the BPSim and have started to take our BPMN 2.0 processes and relate them so that we can run simulations. One of the processes has a subprocess.  When I built the processes and subprocesses without pools and lanes the BPSim works without issues.  When I docked the 1st Subprocess activities within pools and swimlanes the BPSim reacts differently.  BPSim enters the subprocess and goes to the first Pool I created instead of going to the start activity then goes to the first lane created and starts working on the first activity it finds after completing those activities in order and then without going to the other pool BPSim leaves the subprocess and continues thru the other parent process activities.

I am running EA 14.1.1427

Subprocess: 2 Pools, 2 Lanes in one Pool, 1 Lane in the other.  Message Flows are used to connect activities between the pools.

Is there something I'm missing that places pools in a hierarchy for BPSim.

Thanks,  Ray
