'Project Tasks' and 'Project Issues' using fixed Status and Type fields

Construct Ribbon in v15, has Project Tasks and Issues reports.

When adding a Task, while the author and owner fields are populated by the the Project People lists, and the priority from the general priority property, the 'Type' and 'Status' fields seem to be fixed, or at leas i and i cannot find anywhere to change them.

When adding an Issue, it is similar to above, except only the 'Status' field is fixed, and the fixed status list is not the list for the tasks.

Is this the expected behaviour?
