v15ᵦ - "Link to Element Feature" widget - how to customise?

I've just noticed and tried the new (v15ᵦ2?) "Link to Element Feature" widget on the left of the vertex.  It's pretty cool and will save a lot of work.

As usual, I'd like to know if it is customisable. For example, can we add our own MDG metatypes, instead of the unstereotyped arcs?
