EA 14 on Windows10: Error creating font

Dear all,
after moving to Windows10 I keep getting error message "Error creating font: Create one font(c): -19,0,0,0,400,0,0,0,1,0,0,1,34,Century Gothic" and "Error creating font: GetNewFont2". The error occurs three times (!) when trying to open a class, then finally the dialog opens. Problem re-occurs next time w/ same class.

Changed font settings in preferences to Arial (not from Century Gothic, though), and even re-installed EA, but to no avail.

Anything I can do? :-(

I have the same situation, after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (not fresh install of Windows 10)

As suggested to the previous person. Try contacting support directly.

What version/build of EA are you using?

Hi,

We were using Enterprise Architect 13 and 14.

The fix is this:

1.  Copy the following fonts in C:\Temp

"C:\Temp\GOTHICB.TTF"
"C:\Temp\GOTHICBI.TTF"
"C:\Temp\GOTHIC.TTF"
"C:\Temp\GOTHICI.TTF"

       2.  Open Explorer, select all fonts above, right click,  menu option "Install for all users" (need admin rights), overwrite installed fonts, ok to all

In this way the error message box will disappear in Enterprise  Architect.
