Creating triggers on Sparx' tables …?

I have often considered creating triggers on Sparx' tables.
Has anyone tried that?
Is there any official policy on that?
(Of course, I may have to recreate them when upgrading EA versions, but that is alright)

I wouldn't recommend it, but I did it for one client.
The reason was a bug in the xmi import, where tagged value references where cleared.
A trigger now prevents the tagged values to be cleared if they contain a guid.
