Shapescript specific language Notepad++
« on: November 04, 2019, 05:36:46 pm »
I'm going to have a look at creating a language-specific definition for shapescript files in Notepad++, but before I do, I thought I'd ask two questions:
  • Has anybody already done this, and will share
  • Is there an interest in it, if I create one?

Hmmm. Go ahead, but the market will not be very broad I guess. I have a EBNF for shapescript (not detailing single functions, though) published in my shapescript book. I can send it via PM if you don't have the book.

Don't have the book, so would welcome the PM!

Also, has anybody created a custom language in Notepad++?  Any Tips & Tricks, or Gotchas?
