Every single diagram I have to make I need to double-click and deselect 'Show additional parents', 'Show namespace', as I need to de-clutter as much as possible.  It gets old quick.  I would have expected the default is to NOT show, then you can show if needed.  Is there a way to reverse the default setting to 'do not show'?  EA v1310.  Thanks!

The simplest way is to define a Project Template Package somewhere in your model. When you create a diagram, if there is a diagram of the same type in the Project Template Package, your new diagram will be created with the same options as the template diagram.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't remember which menu the command was on in EA 13, but it was certainly in there somewhere...

In v13, this is on the Configure tab of the ribbon under Settings. The menu item is Project Template Package.

Under Preferences, you can also globally Disable fully scoped object names. Although I cannot remember from the top of my head the effect this has on diagrams.
