Hello,

I would like to add a specialization to my E-R diagram, like the ones seen in this website (the "Is A" block):

https://beginnersbook.com/2018/11/dbms-specialization/

How should I do that? I have already looked through the options of the relations, but it does not seem to be an option there.

Thank you very much!

Gotta do it manually.
Because there are many different ways to implement entity specialization in a logical data model to tables in the physical schema.
It's a design decision and often down to technical constraints, user preference or DBA personal style.

This just isn't any UML. So you can't expect to create it with an UML tool. Stay with Powerpoint (since it just looks like that).
