Moving Message Icon on BPMN Message Flow

Hi,

I have a named MessageFlow with the messageVisible flag set to Initiating.  Is there a way to move the icon?  Right now, they're displayed in the middle of the flow arc and I can't move it along with the element name.  Sometimes, it ends up overlapping other elements like a pool border.

No, there isn't unfortunately.
That is one of the reasons we don't use it.

I would split the connector into three segments. The message will always be in the center of the center one, so adjust the length of the segments to get it where you want.

Depending on the Line Style, the "centre" segment may not be where you expect it to be. 

We had "fun and games" trying to get line rendering to work as we wanted until Eve explained how "centring" segments work.
