Allocate relationship not working properly in EA 15?

Hi all - possibly a weird one but I can't find any help anywhere.

Just upgraded to EA 15 today and am having some issues using a simple allocation connector (SysML).  All I want to do is show an allocation between an <<activity>> and a <block> but if I do this graphically I get the message "Invalid combination of source and target types for this connector type" and it won't create the relationship for me.

If I use the relationship matrix I can create the relationship that way with no issues at all - displays on the diagram quite happily, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this.  Is there some residual setting I've missed somewhere?

The rules aren't quite there, but we're fixing them. Please switch off ribbon | Start | Preferences | Links | Strict Connector Syntax for now.
