New Tag dialog required
« on: April 01, 2020, 01:36:45 pm »
As part of moving over to a metamodel based MDG definition, we have just moved our tag definitions (Tagged Value Types) from the general UML area to the MDG itself.

When they were part of the General Set, we could easily select the right tag (from a LONG list) by typing the first few characters and then using the arrow keys to select the correct one.
Now that we have embedded them in the MDG, this is no longer possible!  The tags are (correctly) prefixed by the MDG profile name.  In addition, ALL the available MDG profiles and their tags are listed.  This is unworkable for the general user!

What is NOW needed is a dialog similar to the one for metatypes/stereotypes - that is, a profile filter area to limit the list to the subset selected (the extrinsic value «active» can be used to denote the currently active profile, another extrinsic «general»? should be used to denote the general UML area).  There should also be a name text box where the user can type any portion of the tag name and there should be a list area displaying the filtered (Tag name "containing" Search Term) subset from which the user can select their desired tag.

Reported, Thoughts?
