Embedded MDGs can't be turned off

When EA is installed you get a list of half a zillion MDGs you never gonna use in your life. Not that they just reside in the programs folder were you need admin privileges (luckily on my machine I can do what I want but all normal users just get tempted to turn on any of that unneeded stuff to render their environment unusable). No, Sparx has some 20 or so MDGs hard wired in the executable. And you can not move them out of sight. I know it will never be fixed, but I have to shout out my accusation here: (very) bad design. But of course it fits perfectly with other limping stuff. Saved my day.

The only way to handle those is to use perspectives.
The good thing is that you can link perspectives to user groups and guide your users that way.

I must be dumb in some way, right? I'm sure I've  defined a perspective. That makes toolboxes show in the selected set. But the MDG selection dialog always shows the full list of everything and more. Some extra spice somewhere?

MDG selection dialog shouldn't really be used anymore.

Just for your information, pre-defined MDG Techonologies are stored in MDGTechnologies folder AND InternalTechnologies folder.

Using the Perspective is the most suitable way, and deleting nesessary files may cause bad behaviour.

P.S. Indeed, that was it! In the past the Sparxians had quite a couple of MDGs stuffed in the executable which is why I assumed the new ones also being there. But actually they were moved to that Internal folder. Now my MDG selection looks clean.

Just dreaming: if those folders could be optionally installed (by just extending the installer to offer that) this would be really something. Even more if that option could be System or User installation. Hmmm....
