Extending SysML requirements in profile to include memo tag

I'm extending the SysML1.4::extendedRequirement. I'd like the extended element to include the "id" and "text" tags that the SysML1.4::extendedRequirement includes, but the extended requirement does not include any tag fields. Is it possible to include them? How?

Never mind. I did things correctly but I was not adding the requirement to my diagram properly (I was adding it directly from the resource and not from the toolbox).
