State machine diagram --> Frame background disappear

Hi all,

I have a Main state machine diagram where I have "drag&dropped" a subStateMachine. When I have drag&dropped the software ask me if I want a Diagram Frame, a Diagram Reference, an Hyperlynk etc.

I choose "Diagram Frame" and the software correctly show me the SubStateMachine with all its element inside a boundary and with light green background and this is the expected behaviour.

The problem is: when I close the Main state machine diagram and the re-open it the boundary and the light green background disappear from SubStateMachine frame. I can only see the internal element...it seems that the Frame become transparent.....

Am I missing something?

I can recreate that same problem (EA16.1 [1628], SysML1.5).
Seems that ANY change to the original STM diagram causes the one in the diagram frame on another diagram (I used a BDD) to re-render incorrectly, as you described.

I can resolve it though by simply deleting the STM frame from BDD and then adding it straight back on. It re-renders correctly.
Not ideal, especially if you have lots of STMs embedded in frames on other diagrams.
