My changes are there. But my concern is what is going to happen when I close the EA application. Will EA keep my changes...?
 
As an analogy, as mentioned, years ago in MS Word, there was a known bug where sometimes Word went into a buggy mode where it would not save (to the DOC file) the new changes you make. And when you closed Word all your latest changes got lost.

All changes made in EA except for diagram layout are directly promoted to the repo (which ever database you use). So layout may be corrupt on crash. The rest more or less is save. Be sure to run a consistency check once a week.
