Errors while Importing Business Process from Visio

EA is freezing and closing while trying to import a business process diagram using Visio Importer.

During Import it first throws,

"Microsoft OLE DE Provider for SQL Server[2147217900] Incorrect syntax near "*".

Press OK:

"An unexpected condition was encountered during import. And frozes EA for a moment and closes it.

Any suggestions on this issue?

You could try importing into an EAP file. Whatever the syntax error is for SQL Server may not be a syntax error for MS Access (EAP).

Tried importing into an EAP file. Still getting "An unexpected condition was encountered during import."

In that case could you send your Visio document to Sparx Support please and somebody there will be able to investigate the problem.
