MDGLink for Visual Studio not loaded

Hi!
I need to register the MDGLink for Visual Studio and am notified within Visual Studio "MDGLink for Visual Studio is not loaded. For MDG Integration to be completely functional, please ensure that the Visual Studio add-in has been enabled through the Add-ins menu of EA".

However, under "Manage Add-Ins" in EA I don't find any Add-In to activate. What to do?

I have installed EA Version 9.0.906 and the MDG Integration v. 4.5. It is installed from a user with admin rights which I don't have, but run under my account. Could this be the reason? Unfortunately I cannot try because the admin user is not able to start EA and gets a message indicating that only users with a valid key can start EA.

To register addins you need to add an entry into the registry, which you cannot do if you do not have  admin rights.
