Shape Script - AND and OR Logic Gates
« on: January 12, 2013, 04:16:14 am »
I was wondering, being the lazy wotsit that I am, whether anyone has or knows of shape scripts that will produce AND and OR logic gates.

Examples of the sort of thing I'm after at at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Fault_tree.png - the 2 styles of gate.

Would be nice if there was an accessible library of shape scripts. After all, if it's good enough for PowerPoint ...  ;)

OT: I'd prefer the ISO style

I'd say developing a shape script to provide the visual styles for such thing (your or q.'s preferred style) shouldn't be to hard (e.g. using interned EMF image resources).

The more interesting point for me would be: What kind of (stereotyped) UML model element they should be applied with, and how to restrict the available connectors (links) to 2 input, 1 output? AFAIR things like joins and and forks for behavioral diagrams get nearest to these.

Do you need shapes in the below webpage?

(sorry in Japanese only)

I have made these shapes and offer for Japanese EA users.
I defined them by EA's script, without using EMF image.
