little red A

I wonder what it means when a little red italic A appears in the bottom right corner of a component on a component diagram.
And how I can get rid of it (in order to avoid questions about it).

From memory I seem to recall it means there's a linked document to the object.  You could try right clicking and see if there are any links or whatchamacallit that you can delete....

Correct. The red letter 'A' indicates a Linked Document on this element.

See the Notes section at the bottom of this page:

Deleting a linked document has gotten harder in the current version.

You have to open the Document docked window, click on the hamburger icon (top left) and choose "Delete linked document"

Thank you, Geert - that part was missing.
