Image Asset rendering issue after an XMI export/import
« on: April 22, 2021, 11:08:02 pm »
Hi,

I exported a package branch which includes classes, diagrams and image asset using the XMI export.
On diagrams I created boundaries that are associated with image assets.
Importing this file on a public EA model, I noticed that boundary elements were no longer rendering the image asset. I had to manually update the boundary (Select Image Asset) to fix the issue. I'm surprised about this loss of consistency since Image Assets are a good alternative to the Image Library as I don't have to run Reference Data export/imports.

It seems to be a bug.

You may need to export/import your image assets with 'Strip GUIDs' switched off.

Hi,

I disabled the option so both EA projects have the same GUIDs.
