Nesting Report Packages

Dear community,

I've played around with "Report Package"s and "Model Document"s - their behaviour and utilization is clear to me (i think). What I could not figure out is if it is possible to nest report packages into a report package or do something similiar with any combination of report package and model documents? My need is to structure chapters somehow into a tree without using a flat model document sequence. Are there diagram links i can use to visually specify such a template tree?

Thanks for any hint or links to further documentation. All I found were just trivial cases (except Gerts custom solution using scripting).
