Disabling MDG
« on: June 03, 2021, 12:28:26 am »
I noticed that disabling an MDG actually does not disable it. Although I turned it off from the Specialize menu the diagrams with toolboxes and the stereotyped elements still showed up. Only when I removed the Path from the Advanced menu the profiles were not seen. Probably simple EAUI or another Clippy effect where a system tries to be smarter than it should.

The best way is to create your own perspective, containing only the MDG's you want your users to use.

You can also link user groups to a specific perspective.

Well, no. I use perspectives to limit to my MDGs. That sort of works (though I have still some strange effects). But here I want to get rid of my MDGs (for testing purpose or what ever). So EA is finding my MDG although they are explicitely turned off. Clearly a bug. I just wanted get some air in posting it here. Won't be fixed anyway.
