Ignoring metaconstraints
« on: June 08, 2021, 08:30:26 pm »
By coincidence (how else) I noticed that EA issues a message in the system console "Ignoring metaconstraints for...". That now gives me a pointer why my constraints did not work as I expected. However, what would be a cause for EA to ignore my constraints? Guesswork again...

I did not think of it, but Arthur Dent comes to mind. He'd been warned about his house being demolished, somewhere (omitting most of it) behind the warning "Beware of the leopard". So either Doug Adams knew about EA (which I doubt) or your architect is a big fan of the Hitchhiker.

In any case I'm again not amused.
