Empty Project Browser in Powerpoint via the office MDG
« on: July 07, 2021, 12:21:17 am »
Hi,

I am using Powerpoint 2013 with EA 15.2 and when I use the MS Office MDG addon to pull a model into PowerPoint it sort of half works in that the Project Browser appears, docked to the right hand edge of the window, but it has no contents.

It should look as in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkkxQ6SEB-w at about 11 minutes, but instead the white frame which should contain the project hierarchy is half height, arranged at the bottom of the window and there are no contents in it.

I am using a remote desktop (citrix I think) and both EA and Powerpoint have been installed as virtual apps that generally follow my profile around the various machines I use - does this matter?

Has anyone else had this issue? Are there any fixes?

Roche

It seems I was a bit hasty, I have now got this working - not sure how, I just tried a new Powerpoint file and this time the project browser loaded up fine.
