Activity diagram: Can you reduce the size of action pins of the actions

Hi all,
In activity diagrams, can you reduce the size of the action pins of the actions? 

At the basic zoom level, the action pins are way too big and thus take up way too much relative real estate (relative to their size). This in turn makes the diagrams needlessy too big in the horizontal and/or vertical direction.

I recall once trying to correct this by simply making the actions physically larger so the pins 'become' relatively smaller. But this has a bad side effect: since certain text types are stuck at their default sizes they becomes minute in comparison with my new size scale. Examples of such text types seem to me to be: connector labels and the diagram heading. (Btw, I would be happy if somebody could show me how you can increase the text size of these.)

AFAIK you can change the size only for ports but not for APs. Why? I guess because of Sparxian logic.

On the Elements page of the Diagram Properties dialog there is an option to Collapse Embedded Elements. This will reduce Action Pins, Ports etc to large dots. You may or may not find it useful.

Wondering ... if they provided this ... then why did they not rather provide a collapse feature that reduces Pins, Ports etc to smaller boxes ... ?

For ports you can indded increase the size, but not decrease.
