Hi,
Save to File - Is there any way of increasing the resolution of the PNG output?
Cos when I print out on an A3 printer to give the engineers a diagram to review the text does not come out so sharp.

Thanks
Avi

Have you tried playing with the Diagram options in the Preferences?

I don't think you can. Send a feature request. Else you can downscale the png after export with some tool. The other way round is futile, I guess. The resolution is usually good enough for fine prints (or rather large displays).

P.S. Isn't emf a vector format? I'm not firm with that windoze stuff (but Wiki confirms it). So it should be scalable. If you got any tool to work with that....

In the meantime a work around might be to try printing the diagram using PDF rather than save as PNG. There are two ways to print PDF.
  • Publish Tab>Print>Print to PDF
  • Publish Tab>Print>Print>Microsoft Print to PDF
The first option can be problematic as it has a bug where the diagram doesn't get put onto one page correctly.
The second option of using MS Print to PDF printer driver works well for me.

Hope that helps.
Happy to help

That indeed scales any size. But (this is EA) the PDF has no diagram frame like the png.
