Dear all,

i am new to enterprise Architect and i found the RTF Template mechanism, which is technical really good. My question to you is, maybe who can give me a good starting point on setting up my project. I am unsure about some basic points including

  • What is the best approach to organize the Project
  • How I can map some Packages or Diagrams to speicific sections?
  • I think my document is only a "view", should I rely my package contents independend of it?

It will be very helpful to grab some practical notes from some of you. I hope there will be some feedback.

Kind regards,
Sebastian.

Hi,
in principle you have two options.
First:
Organize you packages in the same way as you expect headings in you document (what I do most of the time.
Second:
Organize your model in an other way and defined you documents as virtual documents. This is a bit extra effort and you are a bit limited in the document structure. Howerver I use it as well but not so frequently.
Best regards,
