MDG multiple levels of extension

Hi,

In my MDG project I have added a meta class, a stereo type and drew an extension relation from the stereo type to the meta class. This works fine. Now I would like to use the stereo type as a meta class and extend that. Is this possible?

What I am trying to achieve is that I can add attributes common to multiple stereotypes somewhere higher in the hierarchy so that I don’t have to add them to every stereo type.

You can use Generalization between your stereotypes.

You create metaclasses only from foreign profiles (via the metaclass wizard). For your own stereotypes you use generalization as Geert stated.
