Code Modules vs DDL Modules
« on: November 29, 2021, 06:15:45 pm »
Hey all

I notice in the MDG Technology Guide there is only a section on Code Modules [p.120] and nothing on DDL Modules, despite the MDG Builder offering the option of including both in your MDG.

In the MDG Builder, it offers the option of including the following in Code Modules:

1. The Product (i.e. VBNet)
2. The data types.
3. Code Modules (Custom Templates).
4. Code Options.
5. Code Grammars.

In the MDG Builder it only offers options to include:

1. The Product (i.e DB2)
2. The data types.

BUT (ain't there always a but), if you create a Custom Template for a DDL technology it will include that in your MDG despite the MDG Builder having no option to include it.

So my questions are:

1. What gives with that?
2. Can DDL modules likewise include Code Options & Grammars. Logic would suggest not, but Sparx is a little bit like a mobius strip at times.

As always, all help appreciated.

Cheers :-)
