Diagram "MDG Technology" property

When I look at the properties of a diagram I can see an Advanced section with an "MDG Technology" property.

Where about in the repository is this information stored?

Most importantly, when I generate an MDG how do this values get set? What attributes on a diagram profile are responsible for setting this values?

Posted somewhere else here recently: in diagram.StyleEx somewhere around the string MDGDgm= (just right out of my memory).
