parametric simulation in EA

hi, does anyone have an actual guide on even basic simulation of parametrics in EA?

https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/14.0/model_simulation/sysml_parametric_models_2.html i'm trying to do their example but they don't explain half of the stuff and thus i get no output.... for now i literally just want to, create a constraint block of f=m*a, apply initial values to m and a, and then simulate it using the sim solver as that page says, but as an example, if i click the model dropdown as shown in here: https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/14.0/model_simulation/sysml_sim_window.html, it is blank and i cant do anything with it... is it me or is this wildly incomplete?
