Hello,

I like to create a document out from a Documentation Artefact. The artefact contains several elements with different RTF Templates.

How can I create a Header and Footer for the complete document? I tried it in the RTF-Template, but it is not displayed for all Templates.

If I add a Header and Footer to a particular Template, it is not displayed when I export the complete document.

Do you have any hint for me?

Thanks in advanced

Create all the templates from a  base template with headers and footers defined and put section breaks at end of each template. If a header and footer defined in a template don't appear in gereated document it usually means the template before doesn't have header and footer so put in a section break at end of previous template.
Happy to help
:)

I do it differently. My templates never contain a footer or header, except for the cover page template, or table or contents template.

You have to be careful though, because you can't (or couldn't, maybe it's fixed) delete an existing header/footer from a template.
If you already defined one in your template, you'll have to create a new blank template and copy the contents.
