RTF Generation - Package Filter
« on: May 27, 2013, 06:48:26 pm »
Hi all.

Is there an easy way of filtering Packages (based on package stereotype) when generating a RTF Doc?
In the generation dialogue, it seems like possible to filter on all other types of objects.

The option to include/exclude on the Package itself is not possible, since other reports might need that Package

regards
Andreas

The package can be addressed using the filters from "Search on: Elements"

it sounds a bit weird, but package is dopped within elements  :) :)

Yes, I thought so too for a moment, so I tried it out.

Element Filter, filtered on stereotype, but still it picks up all packages, regardless of package stereotype.
(Tried both as generation options, as well as on the properties on the RTF itself).

Not sure if it's a bug, or if I'm doing something wrong. Someone can confirm this to work?

thanks.

Did you check the checkboc "required"

and

did you implement the filter vice versa? "Only elements are included which..."

So it sould be
elements where Stereotype NOT EQUAL to "your-stereotype"
  • required.

in my cases it works quite fine
