Stop diagram from automatically add new connections?

Is there a setting at a diagram that tells it not to automatically add new connections?

We have designed some diagrams illustration some specific concerns. But some of the first diagram get automatically updated with the new connections we have added, not relevant for the view.

To illustrate:
First we design a view showing dataflow of invoices.
Then we design a view showing dataflow of userinformation.
To our frustration the first diagram now show connections about userinfo.

Properties -> connectors -> freeze visible

This setting blocks any connectors made in other diagrams to be added to the current diagram
