Configuration Control of Exported Diagrams

Hi all,

My organization is looking to apply configuration control to exported diagrams. I am just wondering for a diagram of any type (SysML) primarily. What is the best mechanism to ensure that graphics that are exported from "Publish > Save > Image > Save to File" convey configuration information required.

My team would be interested if there is a way to apply a technical drawing style template to diagram outputs such that we can embed configuration management metadata to graphics to ensure files only generated from specific individuals at specific milestones are utilised in company documents.

Happy to be schooled if there's an obvious way of doing this, I'm just seeking the best practice and maybe some advice on how others are managing swamps of exported graphics circling around there org ensuring that what is presented to their customers is the true representation of the model.
