Hi

I would like to show both Names and Aliases on all elements on my diagrams, so I have:
- In Preferences -> Behavior -> Alias usage selected 'Alias and Name'
- On the Diagram, Properties -> Appearance selected 'Use Alias if Available'

All the elements on the diagram have both a Name and an Alias, and both show up nicely on the elements,  but not on the connectors/relationships. Here it only shows either the Name or the Alias, depending on the 'Use Alias if Available' setting on the diagram.

Is there a something I have missed, a setting somewhere, or is this as designed?

The reason for this, is that a client of mine would like to use both English and Danish when doing BPMN 2.0 modeling, and saw the Name/Alias as way. It also makes it possible to 'swap' between languages depending on the Alias usage settings.

Any ideas?

Hi Henrik,
No, you haven't missed anything.  It seems to be caused by connectors being second-class citizens of the "Sparxosphere", thereby generating the inconsistency.
The only solution I'd recommend is trying a shapescript to emit both values explicitly.

Hi Paolo

Is it possible to do so without creating a full new MDG? I would prefer to keep their installation as much 'out-of-the-box' as possible.
