How to deploy Model Wizards with your MDG's?
« on: August 20, 2013, 11:08:10 pm »
Hi

I would like to add model wizards to my MDG's, which is actually quite simple, but I have not been able to find a nice way to Deploy/install them together with my MDG. So far I have manually copied them to the EA program directory which is not a viable long term solution.

So, how to deploy them, preferably using EA, if possible.

I have done this in the past by writing an add-in that includes the MDG Technology and the model patterns as string resources. The result is a single deliverable.

So there is no way to import them sort of the way you import MDG's? I smell an enhancement request :)

You can include patterns in the model resources (at least that was possible in some older 8 version; should be still there; somewhere).
