Information Flows: Availability to realization in instances

Hi all,

A question related to the realization of information flows by connectors.

It seems the following scenarios of informations flows are recognized by EA and offered for realization in the "Information Flows Realized.." menu option of a given ("this") connector:
1. Information flows directly between the elements connected by this connector.
2. Information flows between the classifier elements of the parts/properties/objects (instances) connected by this connector.
3. Information flows between the elements that are parents to the ports connected by this connector.

The one thing I'm currently missing, is case 4, which would be combination of 2 and 3:
4. Information Flows between the classifier elements of the parts/properties/objects (instances), whose ports are connected by this connector.

Am I doing something wrong or is this really not possible in EA?
