MDG technology mentioned twice when a view on another technology is included

I'm working on an MDG technology that includes a view specification of a BPMN2.0 diagram.
(I needed this to be a view specification as the quicklinkers for BPMN2.0 connectors don't work on non BPMN2.0 diagrams)
Now as soon as I added the view specification my technology is mentioned twice when adding a new diagram:

The second one only contains the view specifications

As soon as I remove the BPMN view specification, the second entry dissapears.

Steps to reproduce
- Create an MDG file with a view specification of an existing BPMN2.0 diagram
- Import the MDG file into the model
- Add new diagram
- Notice that the MDG is mentioned twice in the list. Once complete, but without the BPMN view specification, and once only with the view specifications.
This was tested on version 17.0.1704
