Baselines Compare Package to file

I have a large shared EA project with baselines created on the Model root every week to have a way to recover data in case of a user mistake.
If I have a known issue within a specific package branch to fix, it is very difficult to use the baselines compare feature i.e. opening the Show difference on a selected baseline takes ages to run. I wonder if it would be possible to have a new button Compared Package to File so the comparison would run on a selected package instead of the whole model.
Alternatively, would it be possible for EA to run the baseline comparison on the selected package and suggest using the baseline from a parent package if EA can easily filter its details to the package.
